Team Suzuki Press Office – July 7.

Suzuki has released two new video productions from the third round of the SUZUKI ASIAN CHALLENGE and Asia Road Race Championship Supersports 600 events that took place at Suzuki Circuit in Japan recently.

SAC – which uses the brand-new Suzuki GSX-R150 in this third season - instead of the F150, which is still a very popular ‘underbone’ model for the Asian market – is a single-platform series that aims to nurture young riders to move forward with the ultimate goal of a chance to race MotoGP™ in the future.

The SAC video focusses on Team Philippines with interviews with Team Manager Noel Villapando, the leading riders, along with exciting on-track action.

The second ARRC video shows how long-time Suzuki MotoGP, World Superbike, BSB, All Japan and Suzuka 8-Hour Endurance World Championship rider Yukio Kagayama – who is also General Manager of the SAC project – put on his racing leathers to take part in his first-ever ARRC Supersports 600 race at this home event for Suzuki Motor Corporation. And he was more than just ‘in the mix’ aboard the Suzuki GSX-R600 by taking third position overall in the second race.
