WEEKEND ACTION – OCTOBER 19-20th

The third weekend of October sees MotoGP™ in Japan for round 16 of the series at Motegi, plus in the UK the 12th and final round of the British Superbike Championship.

Team SUZUKI ECSTAR’s Alex Rins and Joan Mir, along with Suzuki Test Rider Sylvain Guintoli, have been in action today aboard their GSX-RR machinery for the opening Free Practice sessions of Sunday’s Motul GP of Japan. Mir finished FP2 in ninth position with Rins 11th, while Guintoli posted a top-20 lap.

In the UK, Round 12 of British Superbikes and National Superstock takes place at Brands Hatch with Buildbase Suzuki aboard their GSX-R1000 machinery in both the BSB class with Bradley Ray and Luke Stapleford, along with recently crowned Superstock 1000 Champion Richard Cooper and Kyle Ryde completing his second ride on the machine.

October 20: Round 16. MotoGP™. Motegi. Japan. This is the home GP for Team SUZUKI ECSTAR and Suzuki Motor Corporation.

October 19-20: Round 12. British Superbike Championship. Brands Hatch. UK. The final round of the series for both Superbike and Superstock classes.
