SUZUKI UNVEILS 5 NEW MACHINES AT INTERMOT

Suzuki Motor Corporation today unveiled five new 2017 models at the INTERMOT International Motorcycle, Scooter and Bicycle Fair in Cologne, Germany.
This included the long-anticipated GSX-R1000/ R, the GSX-R125, the GSX-S750, new V-Strom 1000/ V-Strom 1000XT and V-Strom 650/ V-Strom 650XT.
Toshihiro Suzuki, President of Suzuki Motor Corporation said in his presentation: “Today you will see that we are continuing to build the Suzuki brand and the position of motorcycles as a core part of Suzuki’s entire business group. As part of this, we are introducing enhanced model series that can be enjoyed by everyone, from people just starting out on a bike through to veteran riders. Looking ahead, there is much more to come from Suzuki as we strive to produce refreshing, creative products that exceed expectations in every possible way.”
On stage at the event included Suzuki’s 1993 World 500cc Grand Prix Champion Kevin Schwantz, current Team SUZUKI ECSTAR MotoGP riders Maverick Viñales and Aleix Espargaró, Team Manager Davide Brivio, World Endurance Champions, Suzuki Endurance Racing Team, plus Team Suzuki World MXGP Team Manager – 10-times World Motocross Champion - Stefan Everts and riders Jeremy Seewer and Hunter Lawrence.
In addition to the machines launched at INTERMOT, four more models are to be unveiled at EICMA 2016 in Milan, Italy next month, bringing a total of nine new models in 2017.
